If you’ve ever thought about having a home in the Caribbean, this blog shares the story of the spell St. Lucia cast on my wife and me. We went with friends on vacation and were seduced by the glorious tropics. Step by step we were drawn deeper into the island.

We thought to build a starter home which led to a luxury villa. That in turn led to a business which supported us and our island home. By the nature of it all we were drawn into the inner sensations, romance and mystery of the island.

As we moved deeper we discovered not just the sensuality, adventure and mystery but also learned that just like the first paradise this one had its snake as well. It was an adventure with perils. It required commitment and determination leading to unexpected rewards.

These experiences led to our two novels. In the first one A Dream Across Time we wove in a lot of the stories we heard about people and their lives along with things we experienced. Inevitably a paranormal element was woven into the story because it is so much a part of  the island experience. The element of ghosts and a deepening paranormal theme is found in the second book A Circle of Dreams. In these books we were able to convey the depth and reality of the island.

Don’t we all yearn for an adventure in an exotic tropical paradise? Not too far away are the diverse and fascinating islands of the Caribbean. They are warm, inviting, sensual and mysterious. They beckon us for a vacation and possibly to something beyond.

Come share our adventure.
